Join us for a British-Croatian Society visit to Amedea, the Half-Croatian cafe, in Whitstable on Sunday June 16.

The visit to the cafe last year was a success, so we are featuring it again in our 2024 programme.

Amedea, the half-Croatian cafe, is small and characterful with inside and outside seating. The menu has snacks and drinks (www.amedea.co.uk) ideal for a light summer lunch. Ed Thomas, the half Croatian owner, and Suzanna, his Croatian mother, run the cafe and it is delightful. They would welcome British-Croatian Society members there between 12-00 and 16-00 on Sunday June 16.

Although tables cannot be reserved, there should be ample space for members to pop in to meet each other and to try their Croatian snacks and drinks.

Whitstable is a delightful seaside towns so a visit tot the cafe can be combined with a wander round the shops and the town, as well as the beach.

Children are welcome, so this will make an excellent family excursion. Dogs are welcome too!

There are direct trains to Whitstable from London and it is easy to reach by car.
